Upgrading the Higher Education Sector, Syria

Fondazione CUOA is realizing this technical assistance project for the reform of the Syrian Higher Education system in partnership with SPAN Consultants (Netherlands), COTECNO S.r.l. Development Consulting (Italy) and HBO Raad - the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (Netherlands).

 

Objective of the project is to assist the Syrian Government in the Higher Education reform process, in order to enable the Syrian Higher Education sector to respond efficiently and effectively to the needs of the economy through:

- an improved governance in the Higher Education sector;

- the establishment of a Quality Assurance and Accreditation scheme;

- an improved efficiency, effectiveness and relevance of Higher Education Institutions.
