Fondazione CUOA realized this technical assistance project for the support of women entrepreneurship in partnership with ECORYS (Netherlands), UNIDO (International Organization) and COTECNO S.r.l. Development Consulting (Italy).

Objective of the project was to support the development of private enterprises in Turkey while at the same time placing a particular emphasis on women's role in the private sector development. In this respect the projects aimed to set-up a nation wide network of training and consultancy centres and relays to support women entrepreneurship, and to increase the institutional capacity of TESK (Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen), in order to ensure sustainability of the Centres.

More than 6000 women received entrepreneurial training and more than 2400 women received entrepreneurial consultancy. As a result of the project women entrepreneurship support activities, 166 women set up their own business.
