&#8211; Our Commitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Journey<\/p>\n<p>The events of recent years have fostered an even stronger awareness of the connections between the environment, society, and the economy.<br \/>\nOur school\u2019s founding charter already reflects a strong commitment to contributing to the development and well-being of the economic, cultural, entrepreneurial, and social systems of the regions where we operate.<br \/>\nIn recent years, we have strengthened this commitment by embarking on a journey of awareness, maturity, and accountability regarding the impact of our activities on ESG issues and the Goals of the 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>2024 Sustainability Report<\/p>\n<p>We have analyzed and assessed our performance regarding sustainability issues in order to report our impact to our stakeholders in a rigorous and scientific manner and to define a concrete action plan for improvement on ESG issues, consistent with the characteristics of our people, our processes, and our school.<br \/>\nA special thank you to our Members, Founders, and Supporters, as well as to our Partner Universities, who have believed and continue to believe in us and are essential to the sustainability of our activities.<br \/>\nThanks also to our employees and collaborators, our faculty, and our students and alumni, who are active participants in the complex yet challenging journey toward becoming a school that is fully SDG-compliant.<\/p>\n<p>2019 | PRME &#8211; Principles for Responsible Management Education<br \/>\nAs of November 15, 2019, we are part of the network of institutions participating in the United Nations initiative known as the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME): a United Nations platform for voluntary commitment, aligned with the goals of the 2030 Agenda (Sustainable Development Goals\u2014SDGs), for business schools and universities around the world that aim to transform their teaching, research, and thought leadership in support of the universal values of sustainability, responsibility, and ethics.<\/p>\n<p>2020 | Our Eco-Friendly Approach<br \/>\nWe have implemented a specific recycling system; since February 2020, it has also been \u201cPlastic Free,\u201d reducing and, where possible, eliminating the use of plastic.<br \/>\nThe beverage dispensers at the school\u2019s campus are equipped with biodegradable and compostable cups, and beverages in plastic bottles have been eliminated in favor of alternatives in cans or cartons.<br \/>\nA dispenser providing locally sourced, microfiltered water has been installed, encouraging the use of reusable water bottles, which are provided to CUOA staff and students enrolled in the Business School\u2019s master\u2019s programs and long-term courses.<br \/>\nWe also take an eco-friendly approach to materials used for communication and teaching, using certified \u201cgreen paper\u201d for printing promotional and educational materials and selecting sustainable materials to support training activities.<\/p>\n<p>2021\u20132022 | Our Sustainability Ratings<br \/>\nIn 2021 and 2022, with the support of external consultants, we conducted a sustainability rating using the SI Rating\u2014Sustainability Impact Rating\u2014algorithm, which combines the following on a single platform:<\/p>\n<p>all internationally recognized sustainability tools (e.g., ISO standards, European regulations, international guidelines on the subject, and building certifications)<br \/>\nthe ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria<br \/>\nthe 17 United Nations goals contained in the 2030 Agenda (SDGs), enabling a 360-degree assessment of the organization\u2019s sustainability management.<\/p>\n<p>This tool, which can be adapted to any business sector and tailored to any type of company, has allowed us to assess our performance against ESG criteria.<\/p>\n<p>Environmental<\/p>\n<p>Our location is a historic villa with a
