Tourism

Tourism and promotion of the territory are continually growing and expanding: volumes increase, tourists grow and the buying and choosing dynamics change.

One of the factors that has determined and continues to determine a major change in the management of tourism customers is new technologies: everything has become dematerialised and disintermediated, information and reviews are searched online, as are the best hospitality offers. The demand for experience-based tourism has grown, as has the search for destinations dominated by the contamination between relaxation, culture and knowledge of the places and all their distinctive features: architecture, landscape, traditions, food and wine, sport.

These changes are an opportunity for many territories and their companies, but require renewed and specific tourism management skills in order to understand the new needs of customers and organise the best offers. It means innovating the models for managing and providing the services, enriching the offer by integrating it with the riches and wealth of the territory of reference, developing a new and flexible business sensitivity. In this sense, product and process innovation is an essential requirement.

CUOA proposes specific training in tourism management for tour operators, companies and professionals in the sector, aimed at providing the technical tools to manage and govern the market and its trends, to define effective communication strategies, to manage the reputation and online positioning (web and social networks), and to manage the economic aspect of the activity in terms of development and investment.
