    pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter, “GDPR”) that your data will be processed in compliance with the aforementioned regulation in the manner and for the purposes specified below:

    The Data Controller, during the conclusion of business relationships and/or requests for information relating to its activities, collects personal data (name, surname, tax code, VAT number, email, telephone number - hereinafter, “personal data” or simply “data”) and, subject to consent, also special data.
    Special data are processed for:
    - following up on specific services and operations requested by data subjects (e.g. verification of access to the structure for people with disabilities);
    - purposes of recruitment and selection of personnel where the CV contains special data.

    In this regard, the Controller informs that CVs containing special data will be processed only if the data subject has given specific consent to do so.

    Your personal data are processed for the following purposes, distinguished by legal basis of reference:

    2.1 – Performance of the contract – fulfilment of legal obligations (art. 6, lett. b, lett. c).
    Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

    1. to fulfil the legal obligations, a regulation, community legislation or an order of the Authority (e.g. management and reporting of training/information activities) and to comply with the legal provisions and/or regulations (e.g. D.G.R. 948/2016, European Social Fund in synergy with the European Regional Development Fund, POR FSE 2014 2020 – Ob. “investment package for growth and jobs”).
    2. to fulfil pre-contractual, contractual and administrative-accounting obligations (e.g. acquisition of information prior to the conclusion of a contact, execution of operations based on obligations arising from the contract concluded with customers, verifications and evaluations on the results and on the performance of relationships).
    3. for placement activities such as facilitating communication between companies and candidates, also by sending qualified CVs to companies participating in the service, information on job offers, or any other event aimed at improving personal and professional training.

    2.2 – On the basis of your consent (art. 6 lett. a).
    On the basis of your consent, your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

    1. information, communication, sharing and dissemination of services and products related to training, research and networking activities (events, seminars, etc.) carried out by the Data Controller;
    2. networking between people and institutions, companies, entities;
    3. assessment of customer satisfaction regarding the quality of services provided and the activities performed by the CUOA Foundation, and/or in-depth research activities conducted through personal interviews, questionnaires, surveys, etc.;
    4. recruitment and selection; personal data provided in the attached data collection form and curriculum vitae (hereinafter the CV) will be processed by the Data Controller to recruit and select personnel.

    2.3 – Legitimate interests (art. 6, lett. f – recital 47).
    We inform you that if you are already our customer, we may send you commercial communications relating to the Data Controller’s services and products similar to those which you have already used, unless you do not give consent, to be communicated to the contacts indicated in point 8.
    In addition, personal data are processed to provide the following Alumni services to CUOA students:

    1. organisation of training and education events reserved for CUOA Alumni;
    2. sending of information on specific activities organised by the CUOA Alumni Association.

    The personal data provided may be communicated to third-party recipients in order to fulfil the contract or achieve the contractual purposes. More specifically, the data may be communicated to recipients belonging to the following categories:

    • Legal, labour and tax professionals and consultants;
    • Banking institutions;
    • Entities and Authorities competent for fulfilling legal obligations and/or complying with provisions imposed by public bodies (Tax Agency, Veneto Region, etc.);
    • External subjects who manage, support, and assist, even occasionally, the Data Controller in the administration of the computer system and telecommunication networks (including email);
    • The CUOA Alumni Association.

    Subjects belonging to the above categories act as the Data Processor, or operate in total autonomy as separate data processors. The list of data processors is constantly updated and available at the Data Controller’s registered office.

    The processing is carried out using manual tools, computers and/or IT enabled tools with organisational and processing logics strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, however in order to guarantee the security, integrity, availability and confidentiality of personal data.
    In compliance with article 5, paragraph 1, letter e) of EU Regulation 2016/679, the personal data collected will be stored in a way that allows identification of data subjects for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which the personal data were collected and processed.

    We inform you that, taking into account the purposes of the processing specified in point 2.1, the provision of data is mandatory and the failed, incorrect or partial provision of data may result in the ability to provide the requested service.

    Personal data provided will not be transferred outside the European Union.

    The data are processed at the registered office of the Data Controller. Personal data are kept for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and, in the event of withdrawal and/or other type of termination of the aforementioned relationship, within the terms established by law for the fulfilment, for example, of tax obligations.
    For marketing purposes, the data will be kept until the consent is revoked or for the period established by law or by the Measures issued by the Supervisory Authority.

    You may, at any time, exercise the rights expressed in articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, and in particular:

    • to access your personal data;
    • to obtain the rectification or erasure of said data or the limitation of the processing that concerns you;
    • to oppose the processing; the data portability;
    • to withdraw your consent: the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent given before its withdrawal;
    • to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Privacy Authority).

    The Fondazione Cuoa (hereinafter, the “Fondazione”) respects the right to privacy of users of its websites accessible electronically at the following addresses:

    This policy is provided solely and exclusively for the aforementioned websites (hereinafter, the “Site) and not for other third-party websites.
    With the entry into force of EU Regulation no. 679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), the Fondazione has updated this policy so as to provide users with all the information on how the personal data collected online through the site are managed and stored.
    The aim of the Fondazione is to provide all the information necessary to make navigation within the Site transparent and safe. Therefore, it is important to carefully read this privacy policy, and if you do not agree with it, please do not continue to use this Site.

    Article 13 of GDPR requires each Data Controller to provide the data subject with all the information necessary to learn about the data of the Data Controller, the nature of the data collected, the processing methods and the rights that the legislation recognises to data subjects.

    Data provided voluntarily by the User
    During the registration or information request procedure, Users voluntarily disclose their data to the Fondazione. The specific policy for the processing of this personal data is called “policy for customers and suppliers.”

    Navigation data
    The computer systems and software procedures used to run this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data in anonymous form whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
    This category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by Users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the reply status given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to verify responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.


    What are cookies?
    Cookies are text strings created by a server and stored on the hard disk of a computer or on any device used by the user to access the Internet (smartphone, tablet, etc.), they are then resent when the same user accesses the Internet on subsequent occasions.

    The Fondazione CUOA uses:

    • technical cookies: these cookies are used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide an information service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user.”
    • profiling cookies: these allow creating User profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the User during navigation.

    The Fondazione uses these cookies to create an anonymous navigation profile that allows it to send personalised ads, i.e. ads based on the navigation information of users and their interests, collected through the use of these cookies.

    • First party cookies and third party cookies: First party cookies are generated and used by the manager of the website on which the user is navigating. These technical and performance cookies are only used: in the first case, for transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) that allow safe and efficient navigation of the website; in the second case, for statistical purposes to detect unique users, content viewed or downloaded, etc., an example of this is Google Analytics. Data are stored anonymously and are used in an aggregate form. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on the User’s computer to allow the website to analyse how the site is used. Information generated by the cookie on the use of the website (including anonymous IP address) will be transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the United States. Google will use this information to examine website usage, prepare site activity reports for its operators and to provide other services relating to website activities and the use of the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law or where these third parties process the above information on behalf of Google.     • Social network cookies: the Fondazione uses third-party cookies, which allow users to interact with social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and in particular to share site content through these social networks.
      Third party cookies, such as those set by the Facebook “Like” button, are generated and used by subjects other than the manager of the website being visited by the User, based on contracts between the website owner and the relevant third party. Some advertisements use these cookies to track the user’s visits on websites where they offer their services.
      Users should also refer to the privacy policy provided by social networks and read the policy on the management of cookies on the sites concerned.


    • Managing cookie preferences: Upon accessing any page of the site, a banner appears containing a short notice on the use of cookies.     Personal data are kept until the User cancels them in the customer area or if the aforementioned relationship is withdrawn or terminated for any reason, within the terms established by law to fulfil, for example, civil and tax obligations.
    For marketing purposes, the data will be kept until the consent is revoked or for the period established by law or by the Measures issued by the Supervisory Authority.

    Data relating to web services of this site are processed at the headquarters of the Fondazione CUOA in Via Guglielmo Marconi no. 103, Altavilla Vicentina exclusively by personnel of the Fondazione CUOA, or by others designated by WorkUp to carry out maintenance operations.
    WorkUp S.r.l. has been appointed Data Processor in accordance with paragraph 3 of article 28 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 on personal data protection, and is responsible for the management and maintenance of the technical part of the Site.

    In accordance with the principle of transparency, you may request all information regarding the processing of your personal data, as well as exercise the rights recognised by the GDPR and specified in articles 15 to 23.
    In particular, you may request:

    • access to your personal data,
    • rectification or erasure of said data or opposition to their processing in the cases provided for in article 20 of the Regulation,
    • limitation of the processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (portability), as set forth in article 20 of the Regulation.

    Following indications from the Supervisory Authority or in the event of organisational changes, this privacy policy may be updated and/or modified.
