To stimulate people’s minds and inspire change within organizations, with the goal of creating a Lean Society. This is the “why” behind the Lean Center: a national hub for promoting lean culture and operational excellence practices.
We have 20 years of experience supporting and guiding companies towardoperational excellence by improving processes, reducing waste, and increasing value for the customer. We take a practical and scientifically rigorous approach to Lean principles, offering integrated and customized solutions.
We train entrepreneurs, managers, and independent professionals to become experts in the Lean methodology, capable of driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within organizations, whether in manufacturing or services.
Since 2006, the Master’s Program in Lean Management has been training Change Agents—professionals capable of analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and engaging teams, while driving innovation with practical tools and a systemic approach. The current modular format is designed to offer greater flexibility and the opportunity to build a customized learning experience. Distinctive features of the Master’s program include a strong emphasis on experiential learning methods: practical and interactive classes, project work, company visits, and hands-on workshops to learn how to lead the Lean transformation process within one’s own context, whether in manufacturing or services.
The Center operates a Lean Academy that offers an Executive Master’s in Lean Management, as well as executive courses on various topics: Lean Basics, Lean Sales, Lean IT, Lean Accounting, Lean Design, Lean Skills, Lean Office, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, and Agile Project Management.
The offering is rounded out by customized training programs tailored to specific client needs, study tours in Italy and Japan, and an annual Lean Day focusing on cutting-edge lean topics featuring international experts.
We promote the exchange of experiences and best practices among organizations engaged in a Lean Transformation journey by conducting workshops and awareness-raising sessions to facilitate collaboration among professionals and companies interested in learning more about the Lean methodology.
The Lean Center consistently produces in-depth articles on Lean Management topics, engaging managers and professionals in the creation of specialized, innovative, and up-to-date content that reflects current developments.
Changes in the current landscape have led us to reevaluate the Lean Center’s strategic positioning: lean management remains the cornerstone of our work, but it is fruitfully integrated with smart manufacturing technologies and agile methodologies.
The time has come to view Lean as part of a system: on its own, it is not enough.
We strongly believe in the immense value of Lean as an enabler for organizational growth because it focuses on the excellence of existing processes and paves the way for the development of agile innovation management systems, facilitating the adoption of new technologies.
The Agile methodology, in particular, allows companies to maintain their focus on customer value while adapting more quickly to market demands.
Lean processes are also becoming digital. Lean is also linked to digital topics and, in particular, to technologies that fall under the umbrella of“smart manufacturing.”
