Sanmarco Informatica, Inc.

“Turning the personal ideas and projects of employees and contractors into reality, supporting them as they pursue their passions.” This is how #smilikeyou was born—a new initiative by Sanmarco Informatica dedicated to the well-being and social engagement of employees and collaborators through the promotion of after-work activities. This #outofthebox project fosters communities where people can share moments of leisure, sports, and culture, thereby improving the quality of work life.

A cutting-edge work environment
#smilikeyou reflects Sanmarco Informatica’s commitment to being a technology company of excellence—not only in its products and services, but also as a positive and stimulating workplace where people’s well-being, creativity, and innovation are always at the center.

Clubs for Every Interest
Through themed clubs led by in-house coordinators, employees and contractors can participate in a variety of after-work activities, including role-playing games, outdoor movies, padel, yoga, dancing, beach volleyball, indoor soccer… and much more.

A new way to work and have fun
#smilikeyou isn’t just about fun—it’s also an opportunity to make new friends and strengthen professional ties. Sanmarco Informatica offers its employees an environment where they can grow both professionally and personally, making the work experience rewarding and fulfilling.

Zanardi Fonderie S.p.A.
Combining continuous improvement, corporate social responsibility, and work-life balance.
With this noble goal in mind, Zanardi Fonderie has designed and offered its employees an ambitious, itinerant training program to transform the mandatory training hours required by their employment contracts into an opportunity for personal and cultural enrichment.
To generate an even more positive social impact, the company has drawn on its strong ties to the local community where, since 1931, it has carried out all its activities: Palaminerbe, managed by the local Pro Loco; Tenuta San Martino, a renowned restaurant in Legnago; the Minerbe Parish Theater in collaboration with the Circolo Noi; and CUOA, the region’s leading business school, served as the venues for the marathon’s four stages.
“Athletes at Work”is the title of the first session, encapsulating a twofold metaphor: the balanced management of work and sports, and the athlete’s mindset applied to the workplace. The event at the Palaminebre was an opportunity to discuss with athletes from Minerba how the culture of sports extends far beyond the playing field, offering many qualities and skills that are useful in both personal and professional life. The posture tips suggested by a physical therapist left no room for doubt: being an athlete—even at work—is good for your health!
The second stop was at Tenuta San Martino, where the topic was food, under the telling title“Eating Healthy Without Sacrificing Flavor and Tradition.” A nutritionist and the estate’s chef took attendees on a virtual journey to learn how to best recalibrate (without making sacrifices) their culinary experience.
“Safety on Stage,”the third event, used theatrical improvisation as a tool to promote a culture of workplace safety. At the Parrocchiale Theater, the performance featured six different skits tailored to the foundry, which summarized employees’ experiences with specific accident scenarios to raise awareness about the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and compliance with safety procedures. In the afternoon, following an engaging social lunch, the event“Sure to Be Safe”revisited the topic with an expert in the field, once again making use of the Palaminerbe venue.
Finally, the CUOA auditorium hosted the final stop of the marathon, where participants spent the entire day exploring the characteristics and benefits of lean management through testimonials and group workshops. The theme of the day?“The Factory at School,”which succinctly captures the value and commitment behind the entire project.
AXERA S.p.A.
AXERA was founded in 2021 through the merger of four local companies in the telecommunications and ICT sector. Today, it connects people, businesses, and infrastructure, contributing to technological innovation in the Triveneto region. With a team of over 200 people, it offers integrated solutions to meet the connectivity, collaboration, and communication needs of local businesses, transforming challenges into opportunities that deliver lasting value. The company is committed to renewing not only the technological paradigm but also mindsets, recognizing that a commitment to change opens the door to the future.
AXERA People Care: Putting People First
Success is not measured solely by economic growth, but above all by the well-being of its employees. AXERA People Care is a corporate wellness program designed to provide comprehensive care for employees: it includes a health benefits package with high coverage limits, including coverage for dental care—even at non-participating providers—and contributions toward the purchase of eyeglass lenses.
AXERA Academy: Training the Next Generation
AXERA’s innovation aims to go beyond corporate boundaries to reach the younger generations through the AXERA Academy. Our digital training hub not only offers technology courses for children and teens ages 7 and up, but through the ICT NextGen project, it also supports high school seniors in computer science programs, helping to introduce young people to the real world of work.
Work and Family: A Winning Combination
AXERA firmly believes in the value of community. Every year, we organize two events that have now become much-anticipated traditions: a winter dinner and a summer dinner, opportunities to come together in a friendly atmosphere outside of the workplace. Starting in 2024, we took it a step further with the 1st AXERA Family Day, a day-long event that also included our employees’ families. And it was capped off with the 1st AXERA beach volleyball tournament!
Continuing Education: Fostering Growth
AXERA’s growth is also driven by a constant commitment to training: through technical programs designed to keep our teams professionally up to date, while not neglecting the importance of soft skills, such as communication and managing interpersonal relationships at various levels. This mix of skills helps create a dynamic environment capable of adapting quickly to market changes.
Our motto? It’s always been one… Let’s Innovate Together!
Feltre
Where corporate excellence and employee well-being go hand in hand
In an ever-changing world, Feltre stands out as a pillar of the leather automation industry. Founded in 1973 by Vittorio Feltre, the company has achieved extraordinary milestones under the leadership of Agnese, Graziano, and Domenico Feltre. Led by General Manager Gaetano Bisognin, CFO & HR Manager Alex Luison, and Operations Manager Vittorio Feltre, our team continues to write its success story.
Future-oriented
Feltre looks to the future with ambition and innovation. The acquisition of the Emmezeta and Tanmac brands has cemented our position as a global leader in leather processing automation. Our capacity for innovation, combined with our strong roots, allows us to anticipate the challenges of tomorrow. We are committed not only to offering cutting-edge products and services, but also to creating a work environment where our employees thrive.
Employee Well-Being
In Feltre, the well-being of our employees is at the heart of our philosophy. In 2023, we launched initiatives that were … #outofthebox for us to promote a positive work environment:
  • A day of skiing in Obereggen, fully funded by the company, to build team spirit.
  • Monthly happy hour every Friday after work—a chance to get together at the office and enjoy some relaxation and socializing.
  • Investments in continuing education, including courses in English, Excel, logistics, and transportation, to enhance the skills of our talented employees.
  • Training sessions outside our comfort zone, such as the Team Cooking event held at the University of Taste, provide an opportunity to explore culinary creativity together.
  • Ongoing training through the preparatory courses offered by CUOA, our go-to organization for training, to support the continuous growth of our employees.
We don’t limit ourselves to convention; instead, we embrace “out-of-the-box” solutions to ensure a stimulating and fulfilling work environment. Our commitment to innovation is reflected not only in the products we offer, but also in the way we take care of our team.
Bedeschi, S.p.A.

People are our greatest asset.
Bedeschi is, above all, the people who make up the company: without the expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication of our team, achieving our business goals would not be possible. Bedeschi is therefore committed to valuing its people through fair, inclusive, and stimulating treatment aimed at the personal and professional growth of each individual. It is from this shared vision that the beB (be Bedeschi) project was born, which encompasses activities and courses designed for employees.

In 2021, as part of the beB project, the company’s Academy took shape. Thanks to the internal assessment system conducted at the end of each year—which provides an overview of all employees’ skills and competencies—tailored virtual and in-person training courses were developed to support and assist each employee in their professional growth. Specifically, the training follows two main tracks: technical training and managerial training. In 2022, the company provided more than 2,250 hours of training.

As part of the beB Academy, toward the end of 2022, discussions began on the possibility of organizing additional activities aimed at fostering integration among employees from different offices and departments to create synergy outside the corporate setting. The purpose of these activities is to create opportunities for colleagues to connect and interact, which can lead to chances to get to know one another better and collaborate more effectively both inside and outside the workplace.

The company has planned a number of initiatives that will expand in 2024; the first ones are:

  • nutrition education sessions,
  • running and walking groups
  • cultural events featuring authors
  • volunteer initiatives
  • meditation classes
  • padel tournaments
  • in-house courses taught by employees themselves to showcase the company’s completed projects
  • language exchange sessions with foreign colleagues to practice English

We wanted to think #OutOfTheBox because we’re convinced that investing in people’s training and well-being will make us more collaborative, motivated, and ready to overcome the company’s upcoming challenges together.

Omega Group
Since 1998, we have been partnering with companies to drive digital innovation in their processes and help them achieve their business goals. Over the course of this 25-year journey, we have been committed to translating our clients’ needs into digital transformation projects that are both solid and visionary, concrete and
innovative, collaborative, and one-of-a-kind.
It is precisely this ongoing pursuit of innovation—the desire to constantly push the boundaries—that led us in 2017 to become ambassadors—the first in Italy—of a new vision for supply chain processes, thanks to Agilis’s attainment of Demand Driven certification, our ERP-class software.
The principles built into the system make it possible to manage market fluctuations through a procurement strategy that is no longer based on forecasts but is instead demand-driven. The result is a more fluid and manageable supply chain where raw materials are purchased when needed and in the quantities necessary to meet market demand, tying up only the necessary capital.
The benefits were evident from the very first implementations: customer service levels rose to 99.5%, lead times were cut nearly in half on average, inventory levels were reduced by up to 60%, and businesses gained greater stability, thanks to financial cycles that were shortened by an average of 65%. Since then, we haven’t looked back: for us, supporting the competitiveness of our companies in the international market meant not only providing them with the best digital tools but also the best expertise and the best professionals.
In 2020, we therefore formed a task force of experts dedicated to promoting the “thoughtware before software” principle, establishing the Renovo business unit, convinced that the implementation of Agilis Demand Driven had to begin with training people and adopting a new approach to production planning. Once again, we were the first in Italy to organize Italian-language courses leading to the “Demand Driven Planner Professional” certification, which—under the guidance of certified Demand Driven Instructors who are part of our team—supports managers every year
and professionals in acquiring advanced expertise in the Demand-Driven methodology.
The numerous successful projects launched in recent years have confirmed the effectiveness of our approach and the wisdom of investing in this methodology. Uncertain and changing market conditions have put traditional planning methods to the test, favoring more flexible approaches, such as the Demand-Driven approach.
Our next goal? To continue working with the same spirit we’ve had over the past twenty-five years, investing in technological research, promoting a culture of innovation, and acquiring new skills—always with an eye toward the future.
ASAlaser
People as a company’s most valuable asset. Based on this premise, ASA—which has been active since 1983 in the production and distribution of lasers for human and veterinary rehabilitation—has structured its development strategy, recognizing the central role that people play in fostering effective growth.
For the company—whose devices are available in more than 90 countries around the world—#OutOfTheBox thus becomes #InsideTheBox: investing in employees to help them discover their aptitudes and interests, and to foster their loyalty and sense of belonging. In the spirit of social sustainability, various high-value-added initiatives have taken shape over the years, contributing to a virtuous cycle with positive effects on both production and the corporate culture.
Concrete examples include flexible work schedules to help balance personal and professional life, as well as career development paths —both vertical and horizontal—supported by specific training programs such as the Master’s in Product Management, Cybersecurity for Medical Devices, the Master’s in Injury Treatment and Sports Rehabilitation, the Executive Master’s in Cybersecurity, and various team-building activities aimed at strengthening bonds among work groups. These initiatives, in the first half of 2023 alone, totaled 850 hours dedicated to driving significant processes of change and improvement.
In keeping with this approach, in 2023, ASA decided to celebrate its first 40 years in business by putting its employees at the center of the celebration—making them the stars of a series of educational, cultural, culinary, and sporting events centered on sharing. To celebrate this important milestone, a packed calendar of initiatives was organized, consistent with the company’s philosophy, which draws its inspiration from employee well-being. So, make way forthe “Beach Volleyball Tournament”and the“Table SoccerTournament,”“ASAbreakfast”— a shared breakfast held on the first Monday of every month— the “#ASA40” on Spotify (a playlist curated with the collaboration of all employees), field trips, and the #ASApeople column, which spotlights employees and highlights their passions outside of work.
Goal: to foster understanding in a way that goes beyond the professional sphere, helping to bridge gaps and uncover unexpected facets of the person sitting next to you at your desk. In this way, an individual’s talent becomes a shared asset, and projects—despite their complexity—become more agile. This approach—focused on employees—will continue to shape the coming years: in fact, a series of projects centered on personal health and family support are already in the works.
